Yoga for Anxiety with Lisa Jakub
Join me for a beginner-friendly, all-levels, 60-minute yoga practice. We’ll begin each class by discussing how to use yoga as a tool to help manage anxiety, then we’ll start the physical practice. I’ll offer lots of options and modifications, and we end with a savasana (resting pose) and some deep breathing to conclude our practice.
All classes are therapeutically focused, and accessible for whatever level works for you. This is about connection, movement, and centering — not perfection. It’s not about being good, it’s about feeling good.
This is an inclusive class open to all! All bodies, skin colors, ethnicities, identities, and abilities are welcomed and celebrated here.
Blue Mala Members are invited to live classes (via Zoom) on Mondays at 12pm Eastern. We’ll finish right at 1pm Eastern, feeling a little more rested and rejuvenated for our week. Blue Mala Members also have access to class recordings and a library of past classes.

About Lisa Jakub
Who knows more about the challenges of mental wellness than a former child actor?
After appearing in more than 40 movies and TV shows, including Mrs. Doubtfire and Independence Day, Lisa retired from acting at the age of 22.
Today, Lisa is 500-hour therapeutically-focused yoga teacher, meditation teacher, and mental wellness coach. She created a yoga program for Veterans with PTS, and is the author of two books, You Look Like That Girl, and Not Just Me.
