At Blue Mala we share stories and provide tools to help improve mental wellness. 

We think mental wellness is a lot like physical fitness; there are things we can do every day to get stronger and more flexible. Maybe you’d like to:

  • improve your resilience to anxiety

  • manage panic attacks

  • reduce the impact of depression on your day

  • or just find ways to reduce your stress

Since we all have different abilities and goals, there is no single path for everyone. But the tools we’ll offer can help you progress on your individual journey. Around here, you’re not going to find empty platitudes, one-size-fits-all “solutions,” nor will anyone tell you to look on the bright side. We’ll talk about actionable tools like therapeutic writing, yoga, mediation, mindfulness techniques — and the ways they can improve our emotional state of being. We’ll share our stories, practice vulnerability, release stigma, and empower others to own their stories.

The process of taking those positive steps is a lot like cross-training. We can strengthen our muscles of mental wellness. Because when we feel good in ourselves, we can do good in the world.
